Space with many chances of handling birds Penguin Pond & Waterfowl Pond
Two ponds lay between the Nagayamon and the Glasshouse. Smaller pond where Jackass Penguins are kept is called the Penguin Pond.
You can feed the penguins from 10:30 at 100yen a try.	The "Penguin Parade" is held on 13:00. Several Jackass Penguins go around the Waterfowl Pond followed by staffs and visitors.
On Sundays and holidays, "Souvenir Picture with a Penguin on Your Lap" event is held only for 5 groups from 11:15 at 500yen(below). Reservation before 11:00 is needed at the food vending stand by the Waterfowl Pond.
Larger pond is called the Waterfowl Pond, with many ducks such as Wood Ducks, Ringed Teals etc. Call Ducks, popular birds in the pond. They are a size smaller than Mallard Ducks, and are very tame.

You can handle ducks with the aid of food(100yen a cup).	You can perch Drill or Kuromi the Ringed Teals on your palms at your request.Please ask a nearby staff member.
On Sundays and holidays, from 14:30, "Sovenir pictures with a Call Duck on your lap" event is held only for 5 groups. Reservation is accepted at the Waterfowl Pond between 9:30 and 14:00(closed down as soon as it reaches the quota).
