Owl Booths & Water Lily Ponds



A small area between the Main Greenhouse and Water Lily Ponds Zone are Owls Booths, the Flight Show site on rainy days, and site of Souvenir Picture activity with owls. This is where you can see Popo the White-Faced Scops Owl and Santa the Umbrella Cockatoo.




Handling service of owls are held at this corner, after falconry shows are held on 10:30, 13:00 and 15:00.

Handling service of Popo the White-Faced Scops Owl is held here after the Falconry Show at 13:00.		 Handling & Souvenir Picture time with Santa the Umbrella Cockatoo is held here between 14:15 and 14:45.


Water Lillies Ponds Zone



Beyond the owls corner are Ponds, 1500 square meters in all, filled with Trolical Water Lillies.
In the Zone, toucans, parrots and other tropical birds are kept, flying freely from here and there. The Zone's atmosphere is, along with sweet scent of water lillies flowers, dreamy in the mood of the tropics. For introduction of tropical water lillies in detail click here.

Birds land on visitor's shoulders and hands immediately as he hold a cup of food in his hand.



Handicapped people, for example wheelchaired people as seen on these pictures, can have fun with birds freely.
