Kamo Garden(Kamo Hanashobuen) is one of the largest Japanese Iris garden
in Japan, in front of the gate of Kamo Palace(Kamo-So), an estate of village
headman built in mid Edo era. The Garden with hills covered with Japanese
Cedars on the background is full of atmosphere of ancient Japanese village,
and colourful flowers of Japanese Iris create very Japanesque scenery.

Both the Iris Garden and the Greenhouse are closed from last July to coming
April 29th.
During closing period, however, you can contact us by telephone, fax and
e-mail between 8:00 and 17:00 JST on weekdays.
We are looking forward to your visit to the Garden during coming opening
period estimated from April 29th to June 30th, 2011.
